Pam's Lace Gallery

I have always been enthralled with all types of handiwork and I am always eager to learn a new technique in the world of the needle arts. I have been an avid knitter for as long as I can remember. I then learned bobbin lace, tatting, beading, needle lace and many other techinques.

The first time I saw bobbin lace being demonstrated was at the Park Point Art Fair in Duluth, MN. in 1981. I knew I had to learn how to do this type of lace. After visiting with the person demonstrating the bobbin lace she said she was very pleased to teach me the art of lacemaking. I was hooked. After leaving the Duluth area and moving to Alamogordo, New Mexico, I learned tatting and there again I was hooked.

I found the Minnesota Lace Society after returning to Minnesota. These are wonderful people who share the love of making, collecting, painting and anything else to do with the art of lace.

All of the work in my gallery has been made by me. Thank you for visiting my gallery.
